Up a you Essa, Your Honor!!

Failure to communicate accurately is sometimes the beginning of a relentless war: Once upon a time, when a humble Italian immigrant was asked by his US immigration examiner where the "Great Lakes" could be found in America, his response was: "Up a you essa". The same lack of precise information is now a serious stumbling block in our frantic effort to bring Afghanistan under our control. As Eric Margolis, perhaps the best and brightest of our newsmen printed in the "Toronto Sun", an election held under the guns of a foreign occupation army cannot be called legitimate or democratic. The Taliban and its nationalist allies rejected the vote as a fraud, designed to validate continued occupation and open the way for western oil and gas pipelines.

Of course, this indisputable fact would, and could NEVER have been printed in the "free" newspapers of our "United States".

This week's stage-managed vote in Afghanistan for candidates chosen by the "western powers" - rather WEAK powers, don't you think?

It's a LOT more humiliating than the political torture my family and I endured in what was left of Germany, after the end of the Second World War: Our "news media" assured us that "black is white, and white is black, an you'll believe that, if you know what is good for you.

Unfortunately, this reminded so many of our fellow Germans of the NAZI days, that we just laughed all that shit off, an wished those who had dared to dupe us with that crap to the lower mansions of hell!

The American War in Afghanistan is NOT about oil!

Yes, my fellow "war fans", the evil conspiracy theorists of this world have it all wrong this time: Oil is NOT the reason our New World Order fans have committed so many of our young men to fight and die in the barren desert, which is Afghanistan: If you will humor me, and click on the title, the scales will miraculously fall from your weary eyes, and you will finally quit bad-mouthing the good intentions of our new US government. It's all about our need for natural gas!
The Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline (TAP or TAPI) is a proposed natural gas pipeline being developed by the Asian Development Bank. It will transport Caspian Sea natural gas from Turkmenistan through Afghanistan into Pakistan, and then to India. The Afghan "government" is expected to receive 8% of the project's revenue.
Whatever it costs, the project is certainly worth the many lives which must yet be sacrificed to achieve this "holy" objective.

The World is at an important historical Crossroads

Michel Chossudovsky:

The US has embarked on a military adventure which threatens the future of humanity: Military action against Iran would directly involve Israel's participation, which in turn is likely to trigger a broader war throughout the Middle East.

The livelihood of millions of people throughout the World is at stake, but our world can only be saved by revealing the falsehoods behind America's "War on Terrorism" and questioning the legitimacy of the main political and military actors responsible for extensive war crimes.

Will the people our world survive?

Working for World Peace!

Those of you who have been following this blog are probably wondering why I haven't been posting as much. Well, recently I have come to the conclusion that I have to get off my butt and publish a book which, hopefully, will reduce the possibility of Nuclear War on this small and fragile planet. Much of the book is already on my web site, at http://home.earthlink.net/~wolfgangpmay/
Just click on the link hidden underneath the title "Working for World Peace!", to get there, or click on the link next to the poem on my blog!
The chapters, some of which are extremely extensive, include:
1)Home, 2)A Republic, Not an Empire,
3)Cambodia and Korea (This section features a very nice thank you letter from the late King Sihanouk, commending me for my work towards world peace)
4) Alternatives to Ethnic Cleansing
5) War is always about money
6) Welcome back from Iraq or Afghanistan
7) Vietnam
8) Children at War
9) If you decide to go to war
10) Refugees
11) Our Army Self-destructs
12) The International Red Cross
13) Dresden (As a young boy, I was an eyewitness to the destruction, and one of our members from VeteransAgainstTorture.com, of which I am a founding member, was one of the members of an American Bombing Crew. As a christian, I was so utterly moved by his confession that I offered to grant him "absolution", while I also mentioned that I have no official or church power for that action, but his work against our country's obsession with torture would surely be considered by the deity to whom we all have to ultimately answer for our many transgressions.

Samuel Phillipps Huntington

Samuel P. Huntington was born on April 18, 1929, and died at age 81, on December 24, 2008. Contrary to his admirers, he was NOT an honorable man. Though he published several books, and served at Columbia University as Deputy Director of the Institute for War and Peace Studies, he advocated the concentration of the rural population of Vietnam as a means for isolating the Vietcong, he was also co-author of The Crisis of Democracy: On the Governability of Democracies, a report issued by the Trilateral Commission in 1976.
In his "expanded" version of The Clash of Civilizations, revised as "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order" in 1996, he argued that post-Cold War conflict would most frequently and violently occur between the world's major civilizations, for example: Western, Latin American, Islamic, Chinese, Hindu, Orthodox, Japanese, and Africa. He argued that Western nations will lose predominance, if they fail to recognize the irreconcilable nature of cultural tensions.

Mossad-Taliban Whistleblower killed in Pakistan!

Qari Zainuddin, a tribal leader who had defected from Pakistani Taliban Chief Baitullah Mehsud, and revealed the Taliban's ties with the US and Israel, was shot dead, days after he revealed that their comrade was pursuing a US-Israeli agenda.  The slain man had also been critical of Mehsud's use of suicide bombings targeting civilians. In an interview with local media, the defector said that Mehsud had established strong links with Israeli intelligence services, which were destabilizing the nuclear armed country. He was quoted as saying that Mehsud and his men are working against Islam. The Us had invaded Afghanistan more than seven years ago to allegedly eradicate insurgency and arrest Taliban and al Qaeda leaders.

My fellow Americans, we are literally being screwed by our current government leaders, which continue to tread the anti-American path of our unscrupulous and dishonest Cheney/Bush "government"!

USA is LOSING PAKISTAN!

The tragedy now unfolding in Pakistan is occurring due to the pursuit of incredibly shortsighted policies by the United States as well as the Pakistani government and military. The US has pressured Pakistan into engaging in brutal military operations, without regard to its own vital interests in the region: This neglect of even the most basic goals which the United States is attempting to achieve in the region, will almost certainly encourage the Islamic takeover of not only Iraq, but also other strategic governments in that area. The current military operation in Swat (like the earlier one in Bajaur, consists mainly of subjecting the areas to heavy bombardment from the air and ground, behind which ground troops advance, shooting at anyone they encounter, including civilians trying to flee or seek food and water, while the hardened Taliban militants have mostly moved away from these affected areas. The Americans used to call these behaviours, when engaged in by German troops a war crime, but now, these same actions are merely designed to bring "peace" to the world: They made a desert, and called it PEACE!
