At the 'Pearly Gates': Were you an American? Here's a list of your crimes!

Though our great and powerful nation has failed in her mission to become a beacon for the rest of our troubled world, Michael Moore is still hopeful that many of our good people will united to turn our nation around: Instead of killing the innocent civilians of our target nations, which was my job as Advisory Team Leader in Vietnam, we must demand from our government that we truly become a positive influence, by using the huge amounts of money which are now routinely dumped into the bloated coffers of our defense contractors, to ensure that we help those billion desperate people of our planet who cannot drink a cup of clean water, and the two billion who don't have clean sanitation. For around $15 billion, which is what we have been spending almost every month on our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, we could give clean water to virtually all of the people who don't have it. Would our citizens not be proud to be known by a child who is 10,000 miles away, and who could grow up drinking clean water, remembering our mighty nation after seeing a plaque on their well, which reads: "Brought to you from your friends in the United States of America". That is how we should want to be known by the rest of our world!

The Duel Of The Machiavellians- Obama vs Petraeus!

Niccolo Dei Machiavelli was born in Florence, Italy on the third of May, 1469, and he died on 21 June 1527. Unlike most of our corrupt and incompetent politicians, though he had many misgivings, he also had high hopes for the future of our 'human' race. Enter our 'president Obama, whose chief claim to fame includes any effort to maintain a 'winning' strategy in Afghanistan, no matter what the cost to the American troops, and to our 'enemies', whom he is willing to massacre in this slaughterhouse. Yes, dear reader, I know what a slaughterhouse consists of, having served our army as an advisory team leader north of Kontum, and in Trung Lap, in the heart of our so-called 'Iron Triangle'. You may want to use the line, at the bottom of, and next to my poem, to check my military credentials: Mine, 100%, Obama ZERO. Obama's move in replacing General Stanley A. McChrystal, though it may have granted him some time to his gullible constituency, merely replaces one of his stooges with another, and it has nothing to do with 'winning' in that country. Bottom line: Our volunteer Army will be forced to endure one 'insurgent' meat grinder after another, until the ragged insurgents who dare to oppose us, drive us permanently from their country.

Americans now have the same online "freedom" as Putin's subjects

Congratulations Americans! We, the masters of declining empires now have almost as much "freedom" as the happy citizens of Russia. A new report published by Cryptohippie: The Electronic Police State: 2010 National Rankings, rips away the veil from the smirking visage of well-heeled corporate crooks and media apologists of America's burgeoning police state. Cryptohippie's analysts say that the top ten nations are of two types: Those who have the will to spy on every citizen but lack the ability, and those who have the ability, but restrain their will! In that light, the USA has negated our Constitution's fourth amendment in the name of protection and in the name of wars against terror, drugs and cyber attacks. Meanwhile, the UK is aggressively building the world of '1984' in the name of stopping 'antisocial' activities, while France and the EU have given themselves over to central bureaucratic control. For example, in France, the German newsmagazine Spiegel reported that a new law passed by the lower house of Parliament "conjures up the specter of Big Brother and the surveillance state." Similar to legislation signed into law by German president Horst Koehler last month, police ans security forces in France would be granted authority to surreptitiously install malware known as a "Trojan horse" to spy on private computers. Afghanistan: A people fighting for peace!

From Christmas 1979, the former Soviet Army occupied that country and started a merciless war against the civilians which lasted ten years. More than a million inhabitants were killed, 2 million were mutilated, and more than six million had to flee the country, in the biggest exodus in human history. Now, to make that country's tragedy even more torturous, the US is planning to ship 12,000 to 15,000 extra troops to Afghanistan early next year. Ann Jones, who has spent much time as a humanitarian aid worker, the author of Kabul in Winter, has written a moving book about civilians dying there in startling numbers. A year and a half later, the horror of Afghanistan's civilian population, mostly consisting of women and children, are still struggling to survive under desperate circumstances. Born in Afghanistan, but raised in the United States, like many in the Afghan Diaspora, Manizha Naderi is devoted to helping her homeland. For years she worked with Women for Afghan Women, a New York based organization serving Afghan women wherever they might be. Last fall, she returned to the Afghan capital Kabul, to create a Family Guidance Center. Her goal is to rescue women and their families from home - made violence. William Pfaff: "When the 'Right? War' Goes Wrong"!!

Well, William is wrong again. The mess in Afghanistan isn't even the 'right war', and it never was, except for those legislators (and Obama), who never understood this war from the very beginning of this incredible mistake! As I indicated repeatedly in this blog, based on my combat experience in Vietnam, first as S-5 (Civil Affairs Officer), and later in desperate combat with our "enemy" at my tiny base next to Ngo Trang, North of Kontum, and finally in the heart of the "Iron Triangle" at Trung Lap, near Saigon, our top commanders in Vietnam REALLY screwed that 'military intervention' up so badly, that my advisory team and I were completely unable to compensate for the gross incompetence of our four star generals. And NO, I am not willing to volunteer for Afghanistan, since my wife would kill me, if I even mentioned that possibility to her. William Pfaff says that the 'increasingly dangerous Afghanistan situation is worth analysis at two levels, that of the war itself, the ultimately doomed attempt by the United States to conquer the Taliban insurrection and impose a pro-American government, and the domestic political effect of Barack Obama's misguided decision to replace 'Bush's ill-conceived war with 'Obama's war' in Afghanistan. Those of us who knew the score were sorely aware of the fiction that Sadam Hussein threatened the United States (and Israel) with 'weapons of mass destruction that did not exist, and that the Afghan intervention was being promoted by the yet more extravagant fantasy that America and the world were potentially threatened by Taliban-controlled Pakistani nuclear weapons.

Get Ready for the End of our World NOW!!!

As Israel is about to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, Stratfor, a US based strategic intelligence company, has released a chart showing US naval power massing near Iranian waters. The USS Harry S Truman has been positioned in the north Indian Ocean, not far from the Straight of Hormuz, which leads into the Persian Gulf. The carrier joins the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, which has already located in the area. Reports of mass movements of Israeli and US naval warships have been circulating through the media for weeks. World leaders "believe absolutely" that Israel may decide to take military action against Iran to prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said Saturday, and Israel will probably react preemptively. The leaders of the G-8, the world's richest countries, including Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Canada and the United States, devoted much of their two-day session to discussion of the contentious nuclear programs unfolding in North Korea and Iran. They issued a statement on Saturday calling on Iran to "respect the rule of law" and to hold a "transparent dialogue" over its nuclear ambitions.

Do you want peace? Can our greedy weapons manufacturers handle peace? Whatever they believe, we owe it to ourselves, and to our progeny to give peace a chance! The group "WarIsACrime.org urges you to contact your Congressman (or Woman), to give peace a chance. The chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, David Obey, can single-handedly block funding to escalate the war in Afghanistan, and he is currently doing so by refusing to advance it unless schools and jobs are funded. Call him every day to thank him and ask him to reject war escalation funding even if jobs and teachers are funded. His phone number is (202)225-3365. Now is the moment, if you care about peace, to speak up for it in public, in the media, in the local office of your congressional representative. Your House member can be pressured to vote NO, especially if you make it crystal clear that otherwise you will work to un-elect him (or her).
