70 Million Died So The Jews Could Have Palestine!!
Yes, according to Katherine Smith, PhD, the Jews were not the only ones who suffered as a result of World War II. My mother, grandmother, and I were barely able to escape our hometown Breslau with the last train from that surrounded city. On our way to Dresden, we were painfully aware that American fighter-bombers were lurking in the sky in order to hunt the poor refugees around us. We were saved only by the quick thinking of the commander of our train. In the middle of a dense forest, he shut down the train's boilers, so that the murderous American fighter planes could not find us. When we arrived in Dresden, we were greeted by friendly Red Cross nurses, who fed our starving refugees delicious noodle soup. Even so many years after that event, I still remember the many kind faces, only a few feet above me, who wanted to befriend a small child, who had not yet been baptized to the horrors of war. Many years later, when my advisory team and I stumbled over several 55 gallon drums tied to the trees at the bank of a river, I felt very strongly that I had to reciprocate my good fortune in surviving the holocaust of Dresden by assuring the survival of my adversaries, and I deliberately failed to call the location of these hiding places to the armed helicopters of the Cu Chi 25th Infantry Division. PEACE!!!
Sixty-Three Percent of Americans Oppose the War in Afghanistan!! I
Yes, Mr. Obama, the jig is up! Opposition to the war in Afghanistan is at an all-time high, with 63 percent of the public now opposed to US involvement there, according to a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey. Just 35 percent of survey respondents say they still support US involvement. The increase in opposition to US involvement comes as pessimism about how the war is going is rising. According to a poll done December 17-19, 56 percent of the public believes that "things are going badly for the US in Afghanistan." The war has NOT always been unpopular - back in March, when a majority thought that the war was going well, the country was evenly divided, but in September, the number who said that things were going well for the US in Afghanistan had dropped to 44 percent, and opposition to the war had grown to 58 percent," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Today, with Americans remaining pessimistic about the situation in Afghanistan, they also remain opposed to the war."There are, however, at least two groups where there is still a slim majority of support for the war - the Republican Party establishment and Tea Party activists.

The War Prayer, by Mark Twain
It was a time of great and exalting excitement. The country was up in arms, the war was on, in every breast burned the holy fire of patriotism. The drums were beating, the bands playing, the toy pistols popping, the bunched firecrackers hissing and spluttering. On every hand, and far down the receding and fading spread of roofs and balconies a fluttering wilderness of flags flashed in the sun; daily the young volunteers marched down the wide avenue gay and fine in their uniforms, the proud fathers and mothers and sisters and sweethearts cheering them with happy emotions as they swung by; nightly the packed mass meetings listened, panting, to patriot oratory which stirred the deepest deeps of their hearts, and which they interrupted at briefest intervals with cyclones of applause, the tears running don their cheeks the while; in the churches the pastors preached devotion to flag and country, and invoked the God of Battles beseeching His aid in our good cause in outpourings of fervid eloquence which moved every listener. It was indeed a glad and gracious time, and the half dozen rash spirits that ventured to disapprove of the war and cast a doubt upon its righteousness straightway got such a stern and angry warning that for their personal safety's sake they quickly shrank out of sight and offended no more in that way. Sunday morning came - next day the battalions would leave for the front; the church was filled; the volunteers were there, their young faces alight with martial dreams - visions of the stern advance, the gathering of momentum, the rushing charge, the flashing sabers, the flight of the foe, the tumult, the enveloping smoke, the fierce pursuit, the surrender! Then home from the war, bronzed heroes, welcomed, adored, submerged in golden seas of glory!

Hillary Clinton Plays Russian Roulette with Justice
Truly, my fellow Americans, why are we more JUST than the EVIL Russians and Arabs with whom we share our planet?? Just recently, a Moscow court decided to jail an oil tycoon. According to Clinton, (and too many of our allies), the US Secretary of State said Mikhail Khodorkovsky's conviction raised "serious questions about selective prosecution and about the rule of law being overshadowed by political considerations." Although Khodorkovsky, 47, and his business partner, Platon Lebedev, 54, were found to be guilty of theft and money laundering by a Moscow court, critics like Clinton say the trial constitutes 'revenge' for the for the tycoon's questioning of a state monopoly on oil pipelines and propping up political parties that 'oppose the Kremlin'. Clinton's censure was echoed by politicians in Britain and Germany, and Catherine Ashton, the EU foreign policy chief, urged Moscow to "respect its international commitments in the field of human rights and the rule of law." Isn't it a shame that these same "human rights activists" have nothing at all to say about British Petroleum's contamination of our gulf seafood, which, according to New Orleans environmental and Gulf oil attorney Stuart Smith, is currently a danger to public health, since our FDA has simply overlooked an important aspect of safety in their protocol. But, then again, MONEY talks, and, in the case of Clinton: "Bullshit Walks". For detailed info about the remaining oil problem, check http://www.examiner.com/human-rights-in-national/gulf-oil

Our Veterans Against Torture Movement has joined the FREE Gaza Movement!!
Actually, the joining of these two organizations was inevitable. As veterans of American Wars, we feel an obligation to stand for human rights: The Free Gaza Movement is a coalition of human rights organizations and activists formed to challenge the Israeli blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip by sailing humanitarian aid ships to Gaza. The group has more than 70 endorsers, including Desmond Tutu and Noam Chomsky. The organizations participating in the Free Gaza Movement include the International Solidarity Movement. The activists participating in the effort include Jeff Halper, Hedy Epstein, Lauren Booth, and members of various Christian, Jewish, and Muslim religious organizations, though Israeli "intelligence" agencies say that it also includes Islamist organizations that "supposedly pose a security threat to the Jewish state. The first sailing took place in early August 2008, organized by the Free Gaza Movement and the International Solidarity Movement. Many of the latter's members had been barred from entering Israel on "security grounds". The group intended for the boat to cross the Israeli-declared "special security zone".
Oil Attorney Challenges Safety of Gulf Seafood!!
Using state-of-the-art laboratory analysis, toxicologists, chemists and marine biologists retained by Gulf oil attorney Stuart Smith, he is proving that Gulf seafood is a danger to public health, contradicting the Obama government assurances that eating the catches since the Gulf oil "spill" is safe. The 'government' seafood testing program which focuses on the seafood free of the cancer-causing components of crude oil, has overlooked other harmful elements: Smith's testing, that examined fewer samples but more comprehensively, "shows high levels of hydrocarbons from the BP spill, that are associated with liver damage." William Sawyer, a toxicologist on Smith's team stated: "What we have found is that FDA simply overlooked an important aspect of safety in their protocol. We now have a sufficient number of samples to provide FDA with probable cause to include such testing. They need to go back and test some of their archived samples as well." Previously, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Margaret A. Hamburg stated at the time of the reopening Gulf fisheries in October, "There is no question gulf seafood coming to market is safe from oil or dispersant residue."

Korea War Redux: Koreastone Cops
Though much is being made of North Korea's shelling of one of 30 disputed islands, Yeonpyeong, which houses a South Korean military base, is well inside what should be a demilitarised zone between the two Koreas, resulting in the deaths of two Korean marines and two civilians. The borders were unilaterally drawn by the UN at the end of the 1950-53 war, and the countries are still officially in a state of war. Rumors are that the incident is connected to the possible transition of power from North Korean leader Kim Jong Il to his son Kim Jong Un, or to North Korea's recent announcement that it is proceeding with its nuclear program. The skirmish began last Tuesday, when North Korea warned the South to halt military drills at the base, after which Seoul began firing artillery directly into disputed waters within sight of the North Korean shore. The North retaliated by shelling the the Yeonpyeong military installations. Seoul responded by unleashing its own barrage of howitzers and scrambling fighter jets over the North, killing far more North Koreans, though the actual number is not yet known!
