Dr. Franklin Lamb: AIPAC and Israeli Spies Running US Sanctions!
AIPAC & OFAC Ratchet Up US Sanctions Targeting Syria and Iran's Populations. Dear Readers, the main title is mine. Decide for yourself when you finish reading Franklin's connecting of the dots whether I have hyped the story or not. To have high Treasury Dept officials, or even State Department ones heading over to the AIPAC to break bread with their fellow tribesmen as the deploy American taxpayer funding assets to work for Israeli and international Jewish interests I personally would consider a form or treason. For some reason no one seems interested in reporting them for this. Could that be because it is going on all throughout our government and considered just the costs of doing business like farmers dealing with droughts and floods. American media of course have abandoned us to our fates, and gone over to the dark forces to try to assure their own survival. Let's Cut 'Em Off at the Knees and Let Allah Sort It Out! Has American government become an Israeli occupied territory on any issued key to Israel? The US Treasury Department's Office of Financial Assets Control, sincw March of 2012, is directed by Mr. Adam J. Szubin who more has boasted on the sidelines of a Congressional Hearing on Iran and Syria and at last March's AIPAC's national conference, that he fancies himself a modern day Inspector Javert. Choosing the Victor Hugo character, according to one Congressional source, as a kind of role model because of Javert's focused and relentless obsession. Szubin has pledged the same with pursuing the financial interests of anyone on the planet that in any way violates the massive and still growing US led economic sanctions that are targeting the civilian populations of Syria and Iran. For last fall's Halloween party on the Hill, Mr. Szubin works closely with his mentor, David S. Cohen, a bit less so, some say of the Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. The two gentlemen often work together, and sometimes with friends located less than a 20 minute walk across the Mall below the US Capitol buildings at the AIPAC HQ. It is selected AIPAC staff, sometimes over a catered lunch, that they dream up and craft ways to cut off the financial legs and the lines of banking support for all terrorists. They also enforce US led politically motivated civilian targeting economic sanctions against rogue nations, read: the civilian populations of Syria and Iran, and even sometimes combat the financial support of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the latter only with respect to 'bad' countries like Iran, as opposed to 'good' countries like Israel. Has OFAC been penetrated by Israeli Intelligence? OFAC has been accused of taking orders from AIPAC, who takes orders from the Israeli Embassy, while for some reason it is not required to register and foreign agents, and whose offices reportedly flood Szubin and Cohen with memoranda on how to, as a sign two weeks ago above the printer in AIPAC's library read, cut em off at the knees and let Allah sort it out!
Jim W. Dean: The Battle of Britain and Poets Galore!
The young Spitfire pilots rush for their planes, some for the last time. The Crimean War Brought Us the First Photo Journalist War Correspondents, the Veterans Today Multimedia People of their Day. Allen Roland reminded us this week of the Battle of Britain, where he featured Canadian pilot John MaGee's famous poem High Flight. It joggled my memory of an early full multimedia piece I had done for VT in November of 2011, where I featured the famous war poets as an example of how multimedia could bring this old history back to life. The High Flight poem was part of elementary school education back in my day, and I can remember sitting in the class connecting with my first poem emotionally. I had put a good bit of work into this piece, going back to find a great photo of MaGee with his plane and the other great wordsmiths, and some fabulous videos featuring the early wartime photojournalists' work. This is one of my favorites, a classic VT piece now. I hope the new readers enjoy. This is a special treat for our Veterans Today readers. We live in troubled times with men at war in far away places, so that scourge continues to linger with us. For a change of pace, I thought we would feature some bards of the past today, to share their talents and also showing us their own stories. I think you will enjoy it as I had a lot of fun pulling it all together. Let's start with Tennyson's Charge of the Light Brigade and Kipling's The Last of the Light Brigade. We don't see much of this older war poetry, so I felt that a more modern multimedia presentation might help snag a new generation. Among all the blood and gore of war, we find a few oases from time to time. They help us rise above the ugliness and horror, or paper it over. One of our veteran treasures has always been our war poems and poets. But unfortunately it seems they are becoming less visible year after year, almost like a slow motion death sentence. This part of our military heritage is in danger of being lost to future generations, and some older ones, too, if never have any exposure to it. We have to make this 'cool' again. The old adage out of sight, out of mind, has lasted through the years because it is true. I fear these poetic time capsules may end up as the private enjoyment of professional researchers if something is not done to breath some new life into them. Veterans Today is a big web site with a wide variety of readers. We can afford to devote some space and attention to parts of our heritage that we see slipping through the cracks. So this poetry series, like the Weekend Concert,, is going to hunt down the gems to share with you. We will cover the well known classics, of course, like In Flanders Fields by John McCrae in 1915, and High Flight, by John McCrae in 1915, and High Flight, by John Gillespie, Jr, a nineteen year old WWII RCAF pilot who died shortly after writing his. Rather than just putting their work up I will dig around for you to pull some background material together on the people.

Dr.Kevin Barrett: New World Order kills Democracy in Egypt!
On Sunday, the Egyptian army and police slaughtered 51 unarmed, praying protestors. The victims were part of a crowd praying outside the Republican National Guard headquarters in Cairo, where President Morsi, assuming he is still alive, is being held. President Morsi is the first democratically elected head of state in Egypt's 5,000 year history. The way things are going, he could also be the last. The army's demolition of democracy, and its massacre of peaceful, unarmed protestors, seem likely to spark a civil war in Egypt. And civil wars do not end in democracy. Why would Egypt's fascist military leaders and the deep state they represent want civil war? The Egyptian deep state consists of comprador billionaires and a corrupt military elite that lives on US aid. These people take orders from the global powers that be, the Bilderbergers, the Rothschilds, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and their bought and paid for politicians. So if Egypt's military has decided to massacre peaceful protestors at prayer, you can be sure that they are doing so as part of a larger strategy formulated by the globalists. To understand that strategy, we must listen to the paid mouthpieces of the New World Order, and interpret their words. Two of the New World Order's biggest megaphones are the editorialists of the Wall Street Journal, and interpret their words. Two of the New World Order's biggest megaphones are the editorialists of the Wall Street Journal, and Thomas Friedman of The New York Times. Last Friday, the Wall Street Journal ordered Egypt's junta to follow in the footsteps of Pinochet's Chile: Egyptians would be lucky if their new ruling generals turn out to be in the mold of Chile's Augusto Pinochet, who took over power amid chaos but hired free-market reformers and midwifed a transition to democracy. Pinochet was one of the worst butchers of the 20th century. After overthrowing and murdering democratically elected President Allende in a CIA sponsored coup on September 11th, 1971, Pinochet's goons filled football stadiums full of people, tortured them and massacred them. So The Wall Street Journal wants Egypt's junta to kill Morsi, just like Pinochet killed Allende, and employ widespread torture and mass murder. All in the name of democracy. When the Egyptian junta decided to massacre the protesters outside Morsi's prison, they were following the orders of the New World Order oligarchy, the people who own The Wall Street Journal and dictate its output. Why do the Wall Street Journal's owners want Egypt's junta to massacre Muslim leaders and destroy political Islam in Egypt, in the same way that the CIA's Pinochet massacred socialist leaders and destroyed socialism in Chile? Let's ask Thomas Friedman, the New World Order's leading middlebrow mouthpiece.
Editor Jim Fetzer: The Debate over 9/11 Truth:
Dick Eastman vs. Jim Fetzer. Dick Eastman and I are going to have a public debate over whether or not the Twin Towers were hit by Boeing 767s, which he claims is true but I deny. It will be held on The Mike Harris Show on Thursday, 18 July 2013, from 3-5 PM CT on the Rense Radio Network. So those who care about these issues may want to join us. It will be a two hour program with the time to speak allocated impartially between us about a crucial bone of contention regarding 9/11. As the founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, it has been my fate to receive attacks from all sides, including the thermite sniffers, Steve Jones, Kevin Ryan, and their allies, but also by the plane huggers, including Anthony Lawson, and Dick Eastman, not to mention the members of the Judy Wood alliance, which displays the features that are characteristic of a cult. I am not claiming they are a formal cult, but behave as though they were, by having the mentality of those who are locked into a feeling of certainty, will tolerate no criticism and blindly follow their leader. The first group, the thermite sniffers, has been defeated by a series of articles co-authored with T. Mark Hightower, a chemical engineer, Has nano-thermite been oversold to the 9/11 Truth community? Is 9/11 Truth based upon a false theory? and Nanothermite: If it doesn't fit, you must acquit, which has been complemented by new research supporting the conclusion that the Twin Towers were destroyed by means of mini or micro nukes, including 9/11 Truth will out: The Vancouver Hearings II, Mini-Neutron Bombs: A Major Piece of the 9/11 Puzzle, and Mystery Solved: The WTC was Nuked on 9/11. The situation with the Wood's cult, which includes the dogma of DEWS, the sacred text, Where did the Towers Go?, a mystical leader Judy Wood herself, and a praetorian guard that viciously attacks anyone who questions those views, as 3,000 attacks on me for an originally 5-star review, now downgraded to 3 stars following The Vancouver Hearings, vividly displays, is more complex. While we disagree about how the Twin Towers were destroyed, key members of this group, including Judy Wood and Morgan Reynolds, agree with me that no Big Boeings-757s at Shanksville and the Pentagon, 767s at the North and South Towers crashed on 9/11, which makes them allies on this aspect of 9/11, which makes them allies on this aspect of 9/11. Morgan was the first to make a public splash about no planes when he appeared on FOX NEWS 2008, which appears to have been a set up to discredit him when the anchor brings up the idea of no planes, given the videos the rest of us saw, as though any of us who deny that Boeing 757s and 767s crashed on 9/11 had not seen them. He did what he could on that show: More important, Morgan published a piece by Joe Keith, who was a software engineer who designed the on the ground shaker system for Boeing, who points out that the videos show the plane passing through its whole length into the building!
Jonas E. Alexis: God and the Intellectuals!
For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak, as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries. Agnostic Astronomer Robert Jastrow. During the early part of the twentieth century, one popular movement among philosophers was logical positivism, which limited truth to what could be empirically verified by the five senses or experience. At its core, the movement sought to deconstruct revelation, chiefly theological assertions, or anything else that appeared to be beyond the five senses. If something cannot be verified by the five senses, logical positivists dismissed them as meaningless. Over the course of more than a decade, logical positivists launched their ideas with great energy and passion, willing to crush anyone who stood in their way. Yet the movement could not gain much intellectual ground because its founding principle was self-defeating. After all, can the proposition "any statement that cannot be empirically verified is meaningless" itself be empirically verified? No. It is an axiomatic proposition, nothing less, nothing more. In the end, logical positivism ceased to carry any intellectual weight and quietly slipped out of academia, although it continued to impact many people. Of course, the verification principle was later modified by people like Sir A J Ayer in Language, Truth, and Logic, but that modification itself was fraught with logical inconsistency. Ayer, who was largely responsible for spreading the gospel of logical positivism in England, asserted in 1936 that a proposition is said to be verifiable, in the strong sense of the term, if, and only if, its truth could be conclusively established by experience. Yet this bold proposition fails to pass its own test. Ayer seems to have foreseen the implication of the statement, and moves on to declare that if we adopt conclusive verifiability as our criterion of significance, as some positivists have proposed, our argument will prove too much.

Jim W. Dean: Zionist Link to Egyptian Army Exposed!
Israel warns US against Egypt aid cut. Israel has always kept its close coordination with Egypt's military low key, even though the Camp David Accords required some obvious interaction. But on the other hand, the Israelis have actually defaulted on them as their own archives show they never had any intention of fulfilling any plans for a Palestinian peace. They figured they could always negotiate indefinitely, or not, and blame that on the Palestinians. No political entity in America would ever challenge them on their bad faith. But their going public supporting the US subsidy to the Egyptian army was totally unnecessary. It was not needed, since the Obama administration had already worked out a way to avoid cutting off aid through the interim government being set up right away with a call for early elections. But the Israelis would never do something like this for no reason, and that reason would never be for anyone else's benefit but theirs. So I must assume that they wanted to taint the Egyptian military as pro Israeli to stoke the probability of more Muslim Brotherhood violence against them to crank up another Syrian style blood letting and destabilization. The Israeli regime has reportedly warned Washington against cutting military aid to Egypt in response to the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi by the African country's army. Israeli officials repeatedly asked senior American officials not to halt the USD 1.3 billion in aid, the US administration gives to Egypt every year, Israeli daily Haaretz said on Tuesday, citing an unnamed American official. The paper said that marathon phone calls about the recent development in Egypt took place between Israeli and American officials over the weekend. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry, while Minister of Military Affairs Moshe Ya'alon spoke with US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. The calls were aimed at coordinating US and Israel position on Egypt following the overthrow of Morsi's government, the American official said. The Tel Aviv regime warned that the US aid cut would likely have negative impacts on Israel's security, particularly its peace treaty with Egypt. The American official also told the daily that the Tel Aviv regime as worried that the US government would suspend the annual military aid. The paper added that Israel might ask the US administration to find a way to continue supplying aid to Egypt. Under the US law, the government has to suspend foreign aid to any country whose elected leader is toppled in a coup. Obama has so far stopped short of describing the events in Egypt as a coup. White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Monday that the US administration would not stop providing military aid to Egypt as it was still reviewing whether or not to label Morsi's ouster a coup.
Veterans Today: VA Grants Will Expand Transportation in Highly Rural Areas!
Veterans to Have Easier Access to Health Care. Veterans will have improved access to health care under a Department of Veterans Affairs initiative that supports new transportation services for those living in highly rural areas. VA began accepting applications this month for grants to help state Veterans Service Agencies and Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) operate or contract for transportation services to transport Veterans to VA medical centers and other facilities that provide VA care. A new regulation establishes the program that will administer these grants. Transportation will be provided at no cost to Veterans. VA wants to be sure that all Veterans, including those who live in rural and remote areas, can receive the health care they have earned through service to our country, said Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric K. Shinseki. State Veterans Agencies and VSOs will now be able to employ innovative approaches to transportation services for Veterans in our highly rural areas. The end results will include better service and better health care for Veterans. VSOs and State Veterans Service Agencies may apply for grants up to $50,000 to fund transportation of Veterans to and from VA medical centers and other facilities that provide VA care. If specified in the application, the services may be provided under agreements with contractors, such as private bus or van companies. A highly rural area is defined as a country or counties with a population of fewer than seven persons per square mile. Many highly rural areas are found in the western and southwestern United States, but at least half of the states have at least one highly rural area. One of Secretary Shinseki's top three priorities is increasing access to VA care and services for Veterans wherever they live. VA is expanding access in a three pronged effort that includes facilities, programs and technology. Veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan are eligible for an extended period of eligibility for 5 years after they have left the service. For more information, please see the Federal Register.
