"Trillions" in Unmined Mineral Wealth is NOT a reason to occupy Afghanistan!!

When I served in Vietnam as an Advisory Team Leader near Trung Lap, my team and I had to put our lives on the line to defend the nearby Michelin Rubber Tree Plantation next to this Vietcong Saturated Resettlement Village, which consisted mostly of inferior plywood. Unfortunately, my boss, Major Kurbow, ordered my team to exit immediately through our gate, and join the Vietcong - infiltrated village defense force in fighting these "aggressors". The fact that our order from a man I admired was a suicide mission did not impress me, until green tracers swept perilously close to our position. The will to live, even in those who are considered by their government as: "Cannon Fodder" seems to be somewhat strong in most of us, so I requested, and got two helicopter gun - ships from the 25th Infantry Division at Cu Chi. After they swept the trees in front of us, all resistance from our "enemy" collapsed, and I decided to reject the offer from our helicopter pilots to kill any enemy forces south of our village, by ensuring the pilots that there were a lot of innocent children in that part of our village. Next morning, a greasy little "general" from the 25th Division landed near my Tactical Operations Center, and attempted to "browbeat" me for keeping "his"helicopters" from continuing their mission. I countered that he was not my boss, but that I reported only to Major Kurbow, and requested that he take up any problems with me up with him. Though I suspected that he was just about ready to shoot me, he turned around and scrambled red-faced into his helicopter. Sorry about the long "intro", but I was telling you here, that any mineral resources, however valuable, in my opinion are not worth a human life!!

Another Part of "our" World Gone Mad

A photograph featured in The Hindu, dated 17-06-2010, shows security personnel in West Bengal, carrying the body of a woman killed in a purported raid on a "Maoist" hideout. The dead woman has been trussed up like the carcass of a dead animal, her arms and legs tied over a bamboo pole, as our hunters in the United States like to carry a dead deer, before they pay one of our processing plants to separate the "Trophy" head from its body, and mount it on a plaque, to display over the hunter's fireplace. In other words, those citizens of India, former home of the great philosopher Mahatma Ghandi, has chosen to revert to a barbaric culture, much lower than the Nazi thugs who formerly ruled Germany, the land of my birth, until my parents decided to leave our comfortable house near Duesseldorf, to start a new life in Canada, and then the United States, who sent me to Vietnam, to kill innocent civilians. BBC Report says Pakistani agents are Funding AND Training the Afghan Taliban

Yes! According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, Pakistani intelligence gives funding, training, and sanctuary to the Afghan Taliban on a scale much larger than previously thought. In fact, this support was "official ISI policy, insiders with the London School of Economics suggest.
Links between the Taliban and Pakistan's service have long been suspected, but the report's author - Harvard analyst Matt Waldman - says there is real evidence of EXTENSIVE co-operation between the two: "This goes far beyond just limited, or occasional support" he said: "This is a very significant level of support being provided by the ISI." Mr. Waldman spoke to nine Taliban field commanders in Afghanistan earlier this year. Some alleged that ISI agents had even attended meetings of the Taliban's top leadership council, the so-called Quetta shura. With US troops due to begin leaving next year, Pakistan and other regional "players" are increasingly seeking ways to assert their influence in Afghanistan, analysts say. The BBC's Quentin Sommerville in Kabul says there is a growing understanding that military action alone will not be enough to bring peace in Afghanistan.

EXTREME BIRTH DEDORMITIES FROM OUR WAR IN IRAQ!!

In his classic work: "A tale of two cities" Charles Dickens wrote: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times - it was the age of wisdom. It was the age of foolishness." The innocent people of Iraq, many of whom had to toil in their bombed-out homes, after we "liberated" Iraq from an alleged dictator, were forced to toil under another one, whom our newspapers call George W. Bush. Now, the mothers and fathers of that country are forced to watch their new-born babies afflicted with birth defects which I witnessed from Iraqis on the web, but are too horrible to see: In an act of stark cruelty, the US dominated Sanctions Committee refuses to permit Iraq to import clean-up equipment that they desperately need to decontaminate their country of the "Depleted" Uranium ammunition that our country: The United States, fired at them. Approximately 315 TONS of DU dust was left by the use of this ammunition. In another part of this atrocity, the "Sanctions Committee" also refuses to allow the mass importation of anti-cancer treatments, which contain trace amounts of radio-isotopes, on the grounds that these constitute "nuclear materials".

Forget about Obama's promise to "kick someone's ass". Obama's ass-kicking is much more experienced at kissing ass, as long as a fat campaign contribution is involved. According to the Los Angeles Times of June 7, 201o, BP and its folks were "significant" contributors to the record $750 million war chest of Barack Obama's 2007-08 campaign. Now, we learn the gory details of a connection of Rahm Emanuel, the Chicago mayoral wannabe, currently Obama's chief of staff, ex-representative, ex-Clinton money man and ex-Windy City political machine go-fer. Shortly after Obama's happy inaugural, eyebrows rose slightly upon word that, as a House member, Emanuel had lived the last five years rent-free in a DC apartment of Democratic colleague Rep. Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut and her husband, Stanley Greenberg. For an "ordinary" American, that would raise some obvious tax liability questions, but like Emanuel, the guy overseeing the Internal Revenue Service now is another Obama insider, Tim Geithner, who had his own outstanding tax problems, but skated through confirmation anyway by the Democratic-controlled Congress. Remember this was all before the letters BP stood for Huge Mess, and even before the Obama administration gave BP a safety award.

Obama is NOT going to "kick anyone in BP's hierarchy's ass!!

Forget what "our President" says on the airwaves for public consumption. Instead of kicking anyone's ass, right now he is more concerned with covering his own. By the way, I did NOT vote for him, so don't blame me for his abuse of the Americans on the Gulf Coast, who are now reduced to poverty, and who now also have to watch while their entire ecosystem goes down the tubes. Wayne Madson, who issued a report: "The Cover-up: BP's Crude Politics and the Looming Environmental Mega-Disaster", and NOT our "President", is now my hero, even though he does not use deceptive rhetoric, like promising to kick a mega-company's "ass". Apparently BP, the polluter of our former pristine Gulf Coast, are still covering up the magnitude of the volcanic-level oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, and are trying very hard to limit BP's liability for damage caused by what can only be called a "mega-disaster". According to FEMA and Corps of Engineers sources, the White House has been resisting releasing any "damaging information" about the oil disaster. They that if the ocean oil geyser is not stopped within 90 days, there WILL be irreversible damage to the marine eco-system of the Gulf of Mexico, north Atlantic Ocean, and beyond. At best, some Corps of Engineer experts say it take two years to cement the chasm on the floor of the Gulf. Where is the American Freedom Flotilla?

Dr. Sama Adnan wants to know! While eight other countries summoned their Israeli ambassadors, only silence emanates from the Obama Presidency. His response was painfully muted and embarrassingly awkward, regretting the loss of life without assigning blame or responsibility. However, Israel's continuing defiance in the face of American pressure, given the billions of dollars, military technology, and diplomatic cover at the UN from our United States, how can Israel display blatant contempt for American security needs and foreign policy priorities with such impunity? Does the Israeli government have a dirty secret on every American official, blackmailing them into silence? The reality is, unfortunately not much different: AIPAC has been able to threaten every elected government official with an electoral loss, if he, or she criticizes Israel - It is thought to be one of the most powerful lobbies in Congress. Congressional support for Israel plays more to domestic concerns such as desperately needed campaign funds for tight races, rather than American security concerns in the Middle East.
