Numerous high level government officials have warned that a false flag may be launched against Iran to start a war: Former National Security Adviser Zbigniew, who helped to create Al Qaeda to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan, told the Senate that a terrorist act might be carried out in the US and falsely blamed on Iran to justify war against that nation. Daniel Ellsberg, the famous Pentagon Papers whistle-blower, said if there is another terror attack, I believe the president will get what he wants, which includes war with Iran. Robert David Steele, a 20 year Marine Corps infantry and intelligence officer, the ranking in US Marine Corps Intelligence, and former CIA clandestine services case officer, said that elements within the US government are trying to carry out a false flag operation, and blame it on Iran. Former high level CIA officer Michael Scheuer, who was the head of the CIA unit tasked with capturing Bin Laden, says that Israel or Saudi Arabia could be setting up Iran as a way to foment war!

On the other hand, cowardice makes makes people stupid and docile. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov: "To a great extent the ongoing violence in Syria should be blamed on the countries that incite anti Assad forces to deny a ceasefire and seek a change of regime. Actually, this approach hardly differs from the principles of terrorism applied by the armed opposition groups." The Russian delegation pointed out that no resolution was required for starting a dialogue on the basis of the principles of the Geneva Communique. Russia's partners in BRICS share this opinion. Among five BRICS member states adopted a joint resolution at the UN General Assembly session. Refusal to apply the Geneva agreements on Syria reached on June 30, 2012 puts at risk the implementation of the key principles outlined by the UN Security Council in the fight against terror. The participants in a high level UNSC meeting on the Middle East on Wednesday voiced different approaches to the situation in Syria. The Syrian crisis has remained the thorniest Middle Eastern issue for more than a year. Meanwhile, all major UNSC member states has expressed their views on the situation before the UN General Assembly session opened in New York on Tuesday. US leader Barack Obama again stressed that peace will come to Syria only after President Bashar Assad resigns. French President Francois Hollande urged the UN to take active steps in Syria and protect the areas controlled by the opposition. Not only Syrians have found themselves directly or indirectly involved in the conflict. Only a consolidated approach can result help in finding the right solution, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

Alex Kane: When Right Wing Crazy Backfires!!

Anti-Muslim blogger and activist Pamela Geller must have thought she would spread her hateful, right wing Zionist message to more people by placing inflammatory advertisements in New York City subway stations. Instead, Geller has had to deal with a ton of backlash against the advertisements, which read: "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad." The ads demeaning Muslims and Palestinians were placed in 10 subway stations in New York this week, following their placement in San Francisco last month. They were first rejected by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, but after Geller filed a lawsuit, a judge ordered the MTA to allow them to go up. The American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), an organization run by Geller and her Islamophobic partner in crime Robert Spencer, paid more than $6,000 to New York's transit agency to run the billboards. AFDI has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Geller is the nation's leading anti-Muslim activist, regularly publishing vitriol against Islam on her blog, and promoting attempts to stop the construction of mosques. She made a name for herself when she led the charge against the construction of an Islamic center in lower Manhattan in 2010, falsely labeling it a "mega mosque" on the premises of Ground Zero. The ads are the latest attempt by Geller to make a name for herself and spread her hateful message that attempts to marginalize Muslim Americans, but it appears they have backfired hard! Almost as soon as the ads went up, they were defaced and corrected. Big stickers with the words "Racist" and "Hate Speech" were plastered over at least seven of Geller's ads, much to her dismay.

J.B. Gerald: On Psywar Against the Innocent!

When freedom of expression is used to incite the public to hatred of a national, religious, racial or ethnic group, it becomes a crime. According to Article 20 of the UN's International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights: 1. Any propaganda for war shall be prohibited by law. 2. Any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by law. This doesn't contradict rights of freedom of expression. It attempts to constrain agendas of hatred. It is possible that any program of military propaganda or psywar against groups or nations is fundamentally illegal. Attempts to defend extreme hate crimes as within our rights of free speech encourages censorship, which encourages repression. A video of US origin, "Innocence of Muslims," the trailer to a film defaming and sexually deriding the Prophet Mohammed, has of course resulted in protest by Muslims worldwide. Why isn't everyone protesting? The trailer is intensively offensive to human values, lacks redeeming artistic merit, and is recognizably propaganda. In California, a judge refused to ban "Innocence of Muslims" from you tube, on the grounds that suppression would violate US guarantees of free speech. In France Charlie Hebdo has published on its cover a cartoon caricature depicting Islam's Prophet naked in a distorted sexual posture. The effect is despicable and intended. The original issue sold out, and despite the anxiety of the country's 4 million Muslims, Charlie Hebdo ran the cartoon again. While France is sensitive to religious laws - abortions don't appear in French literature, it hasn't charged the editors of Charlie Hebdo with a hate crime, and instead closed French embassies and schools in twenty countries.

Since the 1800's liberalism and its utilitarian philosophical bearings have been a central intellectual and popular means by which gunboat and free trade diplomacies alike are justified to the public at large. It is also a foremost rationale through which aggressive social control is exerted on the population at home, more recently by political leaders who symbolize and embody real social struggles in American history, and thereby may exercise a more valid claim to feeling their constituents pain. The modern day liberal handily anticipates and deflects criticism of her policies through a trumpeted alarm for a variety of social and political issues: Student performance, public health, environmental degradation and the alleged atrocities of foreign enemies, waving about an array of solutions, from educational initiatives and carbon credits, to "humanitarian" military actions.
