Johnny Punish: Major American Zionist and US Veteran! 1
Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch dies at 88. Koch often wrote in defense of Israel and, also, against the AIPAC definition of anti Semitism. He was a contributor to Newsmax, a conservative magazine. He also appeared in the documentary FahrenHype 9/11, defending President Bush and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and blasting Michael Moore. Koch was quoted in the film, saying of Moore's film, Fahrenheit 9/11, "It's not a documentary, it's a lie." His brashness and thumbs up confidence, and "How'm I doing?" greeting became symbols of Gotham chutzpah, over his three terms at the city's helm, and while New Yorkers did not always answer Hizzoner's trademark question in the affirmative, Koch couldn't have cared less, as he tried to govern a city that many thought was ungovernable. He finally left City Hall in 1989. "I'm the sort of person who will never get ulcers," he told reporters in 1978. "Why? Because I say exactly what I think. I'm the sort of person who might give other people ulcers." Reverend Al Sharpton, who locked horns through his time as mayor, praised the man he criticized as forthright in a statement on his passing. "He would not patronize or deceive you," said Sharpton, an MSNBC host, remembering that his first arrest for civil disobedience was at a 1978 sit in protesting a Koch policy. He said what he meant. He meant what he said. He fought for what he believed in." Born in the Bronx in 1924, Koch and his family soon decamped to Newark, New Jersey, where he spent his childhood. After graduating from high school at the age of 16, Koch returned to the city he loved, and enrolled at the City College of New York, but his undergraduate studies were interrupted by World War II, when he was drafted in 1943. After serving as an infantryman in Europe, Koch enrolled at New York University Law School. He built up a law practice, before he entered politics, to support Adlai Stevenson's presidential campaign in 1952. Koch's own political career began in earnest in the early 1960s, organizing for the Democratic party in Greenwich Village on Manhattan's west side, In 1963, he ousted Tammany Hall chief Carmine DeSapio, winning a post as a district leader. From 1969 to 1977, Koch served as a congressman representing New York's 17th Congressional District. He mounted an unlikely run for mayor in 1977, ultimately defeating better known candidates, including incumbent Abraham Beame, and congress woman Bella Abzug.
Gordon Duff: Israel's Plan for World War Enters High Gear!
"The final straw, as it were, has been set in motion in Azerbaijan. Their government, once in agreement with Iran over Caspian oil finds, now is taking direction from Israel. This may well cause the world war, that carefully engineered interference in Syria and Mali are only building up to." Intelligence reports from across the world are pointing to only one face, no longer simply a "mosaic" or "connected dots." Israel is using a series of surrogates, the US, Britain, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Al Qaeda, Boko Harum, UNITA, and groups within the US, AIPAC, the ADL, police organizations, all aligned with organized crime, drug and human trafficking, and gambling interests in Las Vegas, and Macao. Activities are being traced to Azerbaijan, Syria, Mali, Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger, Nigeria, Uganda, Southern Sudan, Kenya and especially the United States. Each region is being subjected to systematic destabilization, political interference, terrorism, arms trafficking and espionage. A war is being engineered, too many plays have been put in motion, the direction is now absolutely clear, and the case can be laid out. The "final straw," as it were, has been set in motion in Azerbaijan. Their government, once in agreement with Iran over Caspian oil finds, now is taking direction from Israel. This may well cause the world war, that carefully engineered interference in Syria and Mali are only building up to. Sources in Azerbaijan confirm that Israel has been at the heart of manipulating false stories about Iran's nuclear program to push through sanctions, sanctions meant to choke off oil and gas development in Iran, something publicly confirmed by Azeri press releases. British Petroleum and Israeli Partners control Azerbaijan, not just oil, and are planning moves against Iranian fields, seizure, slant drilling, all backed by a scenario identical to the one used to cause the first war against Iraq, when President Bush personally advised Saddam to move into Kuwait. Congressman Ron Paul, in 2011, read the documentary proof into the Congressional Record, when the cable cited below was found in a Wiki-leaks dump. Iran is to be strangled, looted, threatened by drones, suffer continual terror attacks, until it strikes back in defense,at which time Azerbaijan will run screaming to the United Nations, claiming "babies are being taken from incubators," the ploy used to start the genocide against Iraq.
Paul Schreyer: Cheney, Rumsfeld and the Continuity of Government!
"If a mandarinate ruled America, the recruiting committee on September 11 would have to find someone like Cheney." Washington Post author Barton Gellman in his book "Angler: The Cheney Vice Presidency." Terrorism, Emergency plans. Political careers. The history of 9/11 can be written from many angles. But whatever point of view is chosen, Dick Cheney is a central figure. "Principle is okay up to a certain point", he once said, "but principle doesn't do any good, if you lose the nomination", He's surely an elusive character. Not less than Donald Rumsfeld, his close companion. Both of their lives are inseperably bound with a dark side of recent American history. The core of the following story was originally told by the authors James Mann and Peter Dale Scott, whose thorough research is deeply appreciated. Yet a lot of background information was added. Thus a bigger picture slowly took shape, showing a plan and its actors: Cheney and Rumsfeld were an old team. Major parts of their careers they had spent together. Both had no privileged family background. Cheney's father worked as an employee for the department of agriculture, Rumsfeld's father had a job in a real estate company. The families' living conditions were modest. Both sons could go to university only with the backing of scholarships. Rumsfeld, born 1932, chose political science. He was a rather small and sturdy person, but with energetic charisma. While at university, he engaged in sport,, and was known as a successful ringer. Later Rumsfeld went to the Navy to become a pilot. The Navy had paid a part of his scholarship. At the end of the 1950s, he eventually started his career in politics as assistant of a congressman. Meanwhile, father of a young family, and following a short intermezzo at an investment bank, Rumsfeld himself ran for Congress, only at the age of 29. The prospects in his Chicago home district were unfavorable. He was inexperienced and almost without any voter base, compared to the other candidates. But the dynamic and ambitious Rumsfeld impressed some of Chicago's business leaders, such as the boss of pharma heavyweight Searle. They paid for his campaign. With this economic power in his back, also one of Chicago's newspapers supported him. Rumsfeld won the election in 1962, and went to Washington as a republican representative.

Jim Fetzer: The Strategy Behind Tucson, Aurora and Sandy Hook
Sandy Hook poses so many uncertainties, and even contradictions, that it should come as no surprise that virtually every aspects of whatever happened, is being subjected to the most minute scrutiny. I have now published multiple articles about it here at Veterans Today, including "Sandy Hook: Huge Hoax and anti Gun 'Psy Op' where others, such as historian of science and expert on 7/7, Nicholas Kollerstrom, have addressed the parallels between those events. On one web site, I have even been asked by a serious but skeptical reader, whether it is even possible that none of the children were actually killed. The question is not as unwarranted as most of the public might believe. If this had been a real shooting of children, there would have been a sense of panic and hysteria. EMTs would have rushed into the school building. The children would have been rushed out on stretchers, and into ambulances, and other vehicles, and rushed to a hospital for doctors to treat them, and formally pronounce the death of those who had been killed. Nothing remotely like this happened. The police cordoned off everyone from the school. No one was allowed to see the bodies. They were transported in the dead of night. It was simply bizarre beyond belief. A resourceful student has turned up visual evidence that Sandy Hook was not even an operating school, which, if she is right, discloses the stunning enormity of the hoax: These considerations already indicate that Sandy Hook was a fabricated or staged event. I wish it were not the case, but that conclusion is reinforced by multiple peculiarities about photographs and other matters, extending to conflicting reports about whether the alleged shooter, Adam Lanza, was a student at the school or not. Whether his mother was a teacher there or not. Police radio reports in real time, of two 'perps' heading toward the reporting officer, one of whom was apprehended, the other fled into the woods, and was tracked in helicopter footage. Concern that this is an elaborate "psy op" to create hysteria in the hearts of the American people, and bring about a stampede of public support for the confiscation of every semi automatic weapon in the country, as Senator Diane Feinstein's bill would impose, are open to serious question, in light of the discovery that,in the Social Security Death Index, Adam Lanza is reported to have died on the 13th, the day before the "massacre": After all, if Adam died the day before, he cannot have slaughtered those 20 children and six adults, seven, including his mother, on the following day. And the matter has been compounded by the rediscovery that all three of the major networks, ABC, NBC and CBS reported that his body has been found, accompanied by hand guns, while the alleged assault rifle was left in the car!
Tomgram: Nick Turse, Chuck Hagel, and Murder in Vietnam!
After TD Managing Editor Nick Turse appeared on Fresh Air Monday, his new book on the Vietnam War, Kill Anything that Moves: The Real American War in Vietnam, rose to #48 at Amazon. Congrats, Nick! Our offer of a signed, personalized copy of the book in return for a $100 donation to this site has had a remarkable and heartening response. We can't thank those of you who contributed enough! The offer remains open. Just check it out at our donation page. If you want to know more about the book itself, make sure to read Jonathan Shell's "How Did the Gates of Hell Open in Vietnam?" Think of it as the Great Obama Shuffle. When UN ambassador Susan Rice went down in flames as the president's nominee for secretary of state, he turned to ally, former presidential candidate and chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee John Kerry, who had essentially been traveling the world as a second secretary of state during Obama's first term. Next, he nominated his counter-terrorism "tsar" and right hand man in the White House-directed drone wars to be the next head of the CIA, which dominates those drone wars. Then, he picked White House chief of staff, and former Citigroup executive Jack Lew, to head the Treasury Department. Meanwhile, he tapped his key foreign policy adviser and West Wing aide, Denis Mc Donuough to replace Lew as chief of staff. He also renominated Richard Cordray, whose recess appointment as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was recently endangered by a federal appeals court, to the same position, and picked B Todd Jones, the acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, as the man to reinvigorate that agency. Otherwise, Tom Donilon will remain his national security adviser, and James Clapper, his director of national intelligence, So it goes in Obama's Washington, where new faces and fresh air are evidently not an operative concept. In such an atmosphere, the nomination of retired Republican Senator Chuck Hagel, the co chairman of the president's Intelligence Advisory Board, as secretary of defense was the equivalent of a thunderbolt from the blue. Republicans, in particular, reacted as if the president had just picked Noam Chomsky to run the Pentagon, as if, that is, Hagel were the outsider's outsider.
Ben Schreiner: Hidden Agenda behind America's War on Africa.
Containing China by fighting Al Qaeda. Harnessing Asia's growth and dynamism is central to American economic and strategic interests. Hillary Clinton. Frances military intervention into Mali may at first glance appear to have little to do with the US pivot to Asia. But as a French mission supposedly meant to bolster a UN sanctioned and African led intervention has gone from a question of weeks to the total re conquest of Mali, what may have begun as a French affair, has now become a Western intervention, and this in turn has drawn wider strategic interests into the conflict. Strategic interests, it is becoming clearer, shaped by the imperatives of the US Asia pivot. Widening Intervention: The geopolitical posturing over the crisis in Mali, coming as France's intervention fans out across the region, is no more evident, than in the public statements coming from both London and Washington. As British Prime Minister David Cameron declared, the crisis in Mali will require a response that is about years, even decades, rather than months. Backing up such bluster, Britain has reportedly joined France in dispatching special commando teams to Mali, in addition to surveillance drones. In Washington, the talk of a long war to be waged across the entire Sahel region of Africa has also begun. As one US official, speaking on the Western intervention into Mali warned Monday, it is going to take a long time, and time means that it could take several years. Such remarks mirror those made by the outgoing US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: This is going to be a very serious, ongoing threat, because if you look at the size of northern Mali, if you look at the topography, its not only desert, it's caves, Clinton remarked. Sounds reminiscent. We are in for a struggle, but it is a necessary struggle. We cannot permit northern Mali to become a safe haven. According to the Los Angeles Times, the safe haven refrain is also pulsating through the corridors of the Pentagon. Some top Pentagon officials and military officers warn, that without more aggressive US action, the Times reports, Mali could become a haven for extremists, akin to Afghanistan before the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. As the American public is prepped for the opening of a new front in the unending war on terror, US intervention accelerates. As the Washington Post reports, the US is now offering aerial refueling to French warplanes, along with planes to transport soldiers from other African nations.

Gilad Atzmon: Holocaust Day Backfires!!
The UK Jewish Lobby is in a state of panic - the Holocaust Memorial Day boomerangs. If anything, it turns the floodlight on the deeply problematic inclinations, that are sadly inherent to Jewish political culture and collectivism. Last weekend it became clear, that in the light of crimes that are committed by the Jewish State, in the names of the Jewish people, many Brits find it somehow difficult to genuinely empathize with Jewish suffering. If anything, it is the other way around, more and more people expect the Jews and their State to become more empathic. The day before Holocaust Memorial Day, MP David Ward expressed his dismay with the lack of Jewish empathy. He wrote on his blog: "I am saddened that the Jews, who suffered unbelievable levels of persecution during the Holocaust, could within a few years of liberation from the death camps, be inflicting atrocities on Palestinians in the new State of Israel, and continue to do so on a daily basis in the West Bank and Gaza." MP Ward had to issue an immediate apology, following some relentless pressure mounted by the 'non existent' Jewish Lobby. In short, MP Ward and the British public were also privileged to examine the 'imaginary' Lobby performing one of its power pirouettes, bringing an elected British politician on his knees. On Holocaust Memorial Day, another shred of truth made it into The Times, a cartoon, by Gerald Scarfe, depicting Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu building a brick wall, containing the blood and limbs of Palestinians, just as Britain was preparing to commemorate the Shoa. The notorious ultra Zionist Board of Deputies of British Jews was 'outraged'. It insisted that the cartoon was "shockingly reminiscent of the blood libel imagery more usually found in parts of the virulently anti Semitic Arab press." Obviously it isn't The cartoon doesn't refer to 'the Jews' or 'The Jew', it actually points at a specific brutal person, who happens to be a war criminal, as well as the Israeli PM. Moreover, the cartoon depicts the true reality of the Palestinians. I guess that the Board of Deputies must be convinced that Israel and its politicians are beyond criticism, exactly what you would expect from a Jewish supremacist organization. As if this wasn't enough, also on the Holocaust Memorial Day, The Independent reported that the Jewish State gave birth control to Ethiopian Jews without their consent. Israel isn't just racist toward the Goyim, it is obviously White supremacist to the bone, and discriminatory toward Black Jews. In the context of the Holocaust Memorial Day, the verdict is clear, the Israelis learned something in Auschwitz, but apparently not the most obvious ethical lesson!
