The World is at an important historical Crossroads

Michel Chossudovsky:

The US has embarked on a military adventure which threatens the future of humanity: Military action against Iran would directly involve Israel's participation, which in turn is likely to trigger a broader war throughout the Middle East.

The livelihood of millions of people throughout the World is at stake, but our world can only be saved by revealing the falsehoods behind America's "War on Terrorism" and questioning the legitimacy of the main political and military actors responsible for extensive war crimes.

Will the people our world survive?

Working for World Peace!

Those of you who have been following this blog are probably wondering why I haven't been posting as much. Well, recently I have come to the conclusion that I have to get off my butt and publish a book which, hopefully, will reduce the possibility of Nuclear War on this small and fragile planet. Much of the book is already on my web site, at http://home.earthlink.net/~wolfgangpmay/
Just click on the link hidden underneath the title "Working for World Peace!", to get there, or click on the link next to the poem on my blog!
The chapters, some of which are extremely extensive, include:
1)Home, 2)A Republic, Not an Empire,
3)Cambodia and Korea (This section features a very nice thank you letter from the late King Sihanouk, commending me for my work towards world peace)
4) Alternatives to Ethnic Cleansing
5) War is always about money
6) Welcome back from Iraq or Afghanistan
7) Vietnam
8) Children at War
9) If you decide to go to war
10) Refugees
11) Our Army Self-destructs
12) The International Red Cross
13) Dresden (As a young boy, I was an eyewitness to the destruction, and one of our members from VeteransAgainstTorture.com, of which I am a founding member, was one of the members of an American Bombing Crew. As a christian, I was so utterly moved by his confession that I offered to grant him "absolution", while I also mentioned that I have no official or church power for that action, but his work against our country's obsession with torture would surely be considered by the deity to whom we all have to ultimately answer for our many transgressions.
