Jesse Ventura Talks to Victor Thorn
On November 4, US District Justice Susan Nelson dismissed a landmark lawsuit filed by former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, that challenged the Transportation Security Administration's use of full-body, naked scans and aggressive pat-downs. According to Ventura, these procedures violated his Fourth Amendment rights of freedom from unreasonable searches. During an exclusive November 8 interview, Ventura spoke at length with American Free Press about the matter: "It's really sad, in my opinion, that the government won't allow me to have a date in court," said Ventura. Judge Nelson claimed her court didn't have jurisdiction, but this is a constitutional question, and if she doesn't have jurisdiction, who does? "My attorneys aren't dumb," he said. "But the feds didn't want my case heard before a jury in open court. Instead, they'd rather decide these matters behind closed doors by a panel of judges: I think Judge Nelson has no courage, no spine! "I'd tell her: Don't be a government hack". "My case clearly shows that the Bill of Rights doesn't exist anymore. There's nowhere to go to remedy grievances. It's phony, a fraud." Exasperated, Ventura stated that he intends to start picketing in front of federal courthouses, possibly holding a placard that reads: "I could have gotten equal justice in Cuba."
Pravda: Russia to Develop Defense Project in USA's Backyard
Russia has decided to resume defense cooperation with Cuba, which remains in a state of conflict with the United States, even though it is situated very close to US borders. Despite rising tensions in US-Russian relations, Russia's defense export giant Rosoboron-Export will conclude a contract with Havana, to purchase the production line for the manufacture of 7.62 mm rifle ammunition, Kommersant daily reports. The processing line will be managed by Cuba's Commandante Ernesto Che Guevara defense enterprise. Cuba sent an application to Rosoboron-Export last year: Russia will establish the production of the ammunition, and provide Cuba with the license and the technology for the ammunition. According to the source, Havana showed an interest in the Russian line, after Cuban officials and army officers visited the ammunition factory in Venezuela, where Russia has built a factory since 2006. In the future, Moscow hopes to conclude another contract with Cuba, to modernize the entire ammo production, which was established in that country at the end of 1970, with the help of Soviet specialists. Cuba has been one of the most substantial buyers of Russian military hardware from 1960 to 1990.
Will Stewart: Russia Admits Supplying Cruise Missiles to Syria
Russia admitted it had defied the West and supplied Syrian president Bashar al-Assad with cruise missiles. Despite warnings that the country was in civil war, and ongoing concerns over terror tactics used against civilians, Moscow will go-ahead with training the dictator's troops to use the state-of-the-art weapons. 'Supersonic anti-ship Yakhont cruise missiles have been delivered to Syria,' said an informed Russian source. A total of 72 missiles were ordered by Damascus, but Moscow did not make clear how many had been delivered in the recent past. 'These arms will make it possible to defend Syria's entire coastline against a potential attack from the sea,' said another source. Israel fears the cruise missiles could fall in the hands of Hezbollah militants in neighboring Lebanon. The US also sought to halt arms sales to the Syrian ruler after his bloody crackdowns on street protests. Moscow insists that the deal on the missiles and radar equipment, signed in 2007, is legal under international law. With instability growing in the region, Moscow may have calculated that by arming the dictator, it reduces the chances of Western intervention in the country. The revelation came as the UN's top human rights official warned that Syria has entered a state of civil war, with more than 4,000 people dead, and an increasing number of soldiers defecting from the army to take up arms against the president.

Lynn Berry: Putin Warns West, as he launches Presidential Bid
Prime Minister Vladimir (the impaler) Putin sternly warned the West not to interfere in Russia's elections, as he launched his campaign to reclaim the presidency in a speech Sunday before thousands of flag-waving supporters. Putin stepped down in 2008 after two presidential terms, but kept his hold on power. He announced in September that he intended to return to the job next year and was formally nominated Sunday by his United Russia party. "All our foreign partners need to understand this: Russia is a democratic country, it's a reliable and predictable partner with which they can and must reach agreement, but on which they cannot impose anything from the outside," Putin told his audience. The party congress, which was televised live, was aimed at boosting support for Putin and his party before parliamentary elections one week away. Increasingly seen as representing the interests of a corrupt bureaucracy, United Russia has watched its public approval ratings plummet in recent months. The party is still certain to win the Dec. 4 election, but is expected to lose the two-thirds majority that has allowed it to change the constitution at will. Putin's decision to swap jobs with President Dmitry Medvedev after the presidential vote in March, presented as a done deal at the party congress in September, also has soured the public mood. Many Russians are wary of Putin's authoritarian tendencies, and fear he will remain in power for 12 more years, to become the longest-serving leader since Communist times.
Max Hastings: Will World War III be between the US and China?
China's vast military machine grows day by day. America's sending troops to Australia in response. As tension between the two superpowers escalates, Max Hastings warns of a terrifying threat to world peace: On the evening of November 1, 1950, 22-year-old Private Carl Simon of the US 8th Cavalry lay shivering with his comrades in the icy mountains of North Korea. A patrol had just reported itself 'under attack from unidentified troops', which bemused and dismayed the Americans, because their campaign to occupy North Korea seemed all but complete. Suddenly, through the darkness came sounds of bugle calls, gunfire, shouts in a language that the 8th Cavalry's Korean interpreters could not understand. A few minutes later, waves of attackers charged into the American positions, screaming, firing and throwing grenades. 'There was just mass hysteria,' Simon told me long afterwards. 'It was every man for himself. I didn't know which way to go. In the end, I just ran with the crowd. We ran and ran until the bugles grew fainter.' This was the moment, of course, when the armies of Mao Tse-tung stunned the world by intervening in the Korean War. It had begun in June, when Communist North Korean forces invaded the South. US and British forces repelled the communists, fighting in the name of the United Nations, then pushed deep into North Korea. Seeing their ally on the brink of defeat, the Chinese determined to take a hand. In barren mountains just a few miles south of their own border, in the winter of 1950, their troops achieved a stunning surprise. The Chinese drove the American interlopers hundreds of miles south, before they themselves were pushed back. Eventually a front was stabilized and the situation sank into stalemate. Three years later, the United States was thankful to get out of its unwanted war with China by accepting a compromise peace, along the armistice line which still divides the two Koreas today.
Pravda: Russia and USA on Verge of another Cold War?
Russia will pull out from the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) and refuse from the steps in the field of disarmament, if the USA continues to build the missile defense system in Europe. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev stated in a televised address to the nation Wednesday. According to Medvedev, Russia is going to deploy Iskander missile complexes in the west and in the south of the country. The systems will guarantee the total destruction of the European part of the air defense system. In addition, Russia's new strategic ballistic missiles will be outfitted with advanced complexes to overcome the air defense system. The missiles will also have highly efficient warheads, Medvedev said. The president ordered the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to start elaborating the measures which, if necessary, would guarantee the destruction of informational and administering means of the air defense system. The President also charged the Defense Ministry of Russia with putting the radar system in the Kaliningrad enclave in operation. Medvedev emphasized that Russia was still prepared to continue the dialogue with the United States and NATO regarding the issue of missile defense. Brother Nathaniel Kapner: Will the Jews Let Ron Paul Win??
Why does the Mainstream Media Disrespect Ron Paul? So asks the popular internet site, US Watchdog.com. The Headline article points out that even though Ron Paul was a close second to Michelle Bachman in a recent Republican straw poll, yet on FOX News Sunday, host Chris Wallace totally ignored the virtual tie, and instead reported: "There is a top tier now of Bachmann, Perry and Romney, with Rick Santorum following close behind." What gives? Well, it's NOT just about 'disrespect'. It goes far beyond that, because it is, in fact, an orchestrated Zionist Media WAR on Ron Paul, which has been going on for many, many months now. In fact, those with insight can see it is the extension of the same Zionist media War on Ron Paul, which has been going on for many, many months now. In fact, those with hindsight can see it is the extension of the same media infamy bestowed on the honorable Texan, going back to the 2007-2008 Republican Primary campaign. A commenter on the "US Watchdog" site wrote: "The Jews own the Main Stream Media and most everything else that has to do with this kind of reporting, or non-reporting, and that's why Ron Paul is being ignored. Their journalists are told to snub Ron Paul, or lose their jobs!" Another commenter said: "Ron Paul is slighted by the press, because it's owned by the Big Banks, controlled by the Federal Reserve, which Ron Paul wants to abolish." Here's one that hits the bulls eye: "The reason the media disrespects Ron Paul is because he is not a backer of Israel. Bachman and Perry are big Israel supporters, Paul is not! "He knows how many billions of US tax dollars go to Israel every year!" Last week, Ron Paul certainly placed himself in harm's way by voicing his anti-Israel stand on the CNN National Security Debate, sponsored by none other than the Jewish 'think tank,' The American Enterprise Institute'!
Marti Oakley: The Hunting of America Expands!
Many of us have wondered, if directed to, would our own military turn on us? It appears that this is the plan, and has been all along, yet the question remains, would they actually do it, if ordered to? Senators Carl Levin and John McCain are bringing this bill to the Senate floor on Monday, after holding secret committee meetings, while never holding even one hearing on this bill, which authorizes military action against US citizens. While, on the surface, the bill appears to be about authorizing defense funding for illegal wars, the ongoing unwarranted surveillance of the US population and the continuing violations of the 4th Amendment as applied to US citizens, many of the provisions of this bill do not pertain to unidentifiable terrorists, or any other villain carefully crafted to terrorize the country. The fact is, as a result of the false flag attacks on 9/11, we have massive numbers of of police state "laws" on the books, which created "terrorists" or redefined "terrorist activity" to include everything from political dissent and free speech, even targeting of US citizens for mentioning or referencing the Constitution or supporting third party, non-approved candidates for public office.
Omar Waraich: Fury at Deliberate NATO Attacks in Pakistan!
Pakistan has angrily rejected claims that its troops opened fire on Afghan and NATO forces before NATO airstrikes left 24 Pakistani soldiers dead on Saturday. In an escalation of tensions, the Pakistani army has said that the attack was deliberate and unprovoked. "There was no fire from this direction," said Major General Athar Abbas, the Pakistan military's chief spokesman. "If there was any fire, where are the casualties on their side? Afghan officials had claimed that the Pakistanis started the firing, forcing them to call for close NATO air support that led to a retaliatory strike. General Abbas claimed that the Pakistanis started the firing, forcing them to call for close NATO air support that led to a retaliatory strike. General Abbas also said that Pakistan had already given NATO the coordinates of two border posts that were attacked, 300 meters inside Pakistani territory, dismissing suggestions of a mistake. The border posts were established in the Mohmand tribal agency, after the Pakistani army pushed militants across the border into Afghanistan. Some 24 Pakistani soldiers and officers manned each of the posts. The NATO airstrike lasted for nearly two hours, and continued despite requests for it to be halted, a senior Pakistani military official said.
Pravda: Britain's Massacre - Outrageous and Indefensible!
David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, has stated that the attack on the British Embassy in Teheran was "outrageous" while the Foreign Secretary William Hague has called it "irresponsible". So how shall we label the British massacres in Libya as terrorists were backed to overthrow the government of a sovereign state? It is interesting that the Iranian government at least had the decency to apologize after a few hundred enraged students stormed the British Embassy, after London upped the stakes in what is turning into an unnecessarily tense situation, making it quite clear that London under Cameron and Hague is very much a player in the hegemony over the world's energy resources, using NATO to implement the whims and caprices of of the Israeli lobbies which control Washington's foreign policy, and that of her allies! It is despicable that the British government was incapable of offering an apology, when the three grandchildren of Colonel Gaddafi were murdered in their home by one of the cowards flying NATO warplanes, and now we are speaking about Libya and murder. Was it not a tad outrage-
ous to breach the UN Charter, the UNSC Resolutions and the Geneva Convention in taking sides in an internal conflict, aiding terrorists to murder, rape, pillage, torch buildings, torture, and commit acts of sadism and sodomy?

RT: Iran Threatens 150,000 missile Response to Israeli Jerichos!
Saber-rattling rhetoric in the Middle East is reaching new heights. Israel is reportedly deploying its long-range Jericho missiles around Jerusalem, while the Iranian defense minister threatened massive missile retaliation against Israel. The threat to launch "150,000 or more" missiles was voiced by Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi on Sunday, as he was delivering a speech before army volunteers. Earlier, Iranian officials threatened massive missile retaliation against Israel. The threat to launch "150,000 or more" missiles was voiced by Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi on Sunday, as he was delivering a speech before army volunteers. Earlier, Iranian officials threatened retaliation against both Israel and NATO, should an attack on Iran be carried out. Meanwhile, Israel is reportedly deploying its own missiles around Jerusalem and in the West Bank. The missiles, carried into position by military tracks, resemble the Jericho missiles, says Aaron Klein, head of the Jerusalem bureau for WorldNetDaily, citing several eyewitness accounts. The reporter speculates that this may be a military drill, possibly linked to the earlier rocket test fire. The missile launched from the Palmachim test center was reportedly meant to test a new engine for the Jericho III design.
Saeed Kamali Dehghan: Iranian Police Rescue British Embassy Workers!
Iranian police have secured the release of six British embassy employees taken hostage at a compound in northern Tehran, according to the semi-official Fars news agency. "Police freed the six people working for the British embassy in Qolhac garden," Fars said. No further details of the hostage-taking were forthcoming. Earlier, dozens of Iranian protesters forced their way into the British embassy at a separate location in Tehran, tearing down the union flag and throwing documents from windows. The attack came two days after the Iranian parliament voted to expel the British ambassador, Dominick Chilcott, in retaliation for economic sanctions imposed by the west over the country's disputed nuclear program. The Foreign Office sad it was "outraged" at the events, which it described as "utterly unacceptable". Fars reported that a small group of students chanting "Death to England!" had replaced the British flag with the Iranian flag. British and Israeli flags were also reported to have been burned during the protests. Ilna, another semi-official news agency, said the protesters had "conquered" the embassy. The events were shown live on state-run Press TV. There was no immediate word on casualties.
Peter Van Buren: No Free Speech at Jefferson's Library!
No free speech at Mr. Jefferson's Library: George Orwell, Philip K Dick, and Ray Bradbury would have recognized Morris Davis's problem. According to the First Amendment, "Congress shall make no laws respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government to redress of grievances." Those beautiful words, almost haiku -like, are the sparse poetry of the American democratic experiment. The Founders purposely wrote the First Amendment to read broadly, and not like a snipped of tax code, in order to emphasize that it should encompass everything from shouted religious rantings to eloquent political criticism. Go ahead, reread it aloud at this moment, when the government seems to be carving out an exception to it large enough to drive a tank through. When I arrived at Zuccotti Prison one afternoon last week, the "park" was in its now-usual lock-down mode. No more tents, no library. No kitchen. No medical area. Just 30 leftover protesters and perhaps 100 of New York's finest as well as private security types in neon-green vests in and around a dead space enclosed by more movable police fencing than you can imagine. To the once open plaza, there were now only two small entrances in the fencing on the side streets, and to pass through either, you had to run the gauntlet of police and private security types.

Jim Marrs: Did Hitler Save Europe from Communism?
By 1941, the international order had turned against Adolf Hitler. Germany's "Blitzkrieg" has shocked the ruling elite, as first Poland, then the rest of Europe came under Nazi control. Britain was helpless to stop Hitler, who was already making preparations for a preemptive attack on the Soviet Union. Hitler was getting out of hand. German inventiveness and efficiency as well as financial support from western financiers, had brought Hitler's Germany to the zenith of its power. Germany was preparing to strike Russia, and Hitler did not want a two-front war, the very situation which caused Germany's defeat i World War I. Actually, Hitler wanted England as an ally against communism. "With England alone as an ally, one's back being covered, could one begin the new German invasion of Russia," Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf. In other words, Hitler needed peace with Britain before beginning an attack on Russia. Securing peace on the Western Front may have become an urgent priority for Hitler. According to former Soviet military intelligence officer Vladimir Rezun, writing under his pen name Victor Suvorov, Hitler was forced to launch a pre-emptive assault against the Soviet Union in June 1941, to forestall an attack on Western Europe by Stalin in July. Though Suvorov's work has been published in 87 editions in 18 languages, he has received virtually no mention in the US corporate mass media, despite the fact that his assertions turn conventional history upside down. Most people have been taught that Stalin naively trusted Hitler, and was totally surprised by Hitler's attack.
Rev.Ted Pike: ADL Losing Hate Law Support in Europe!
Cooperation by European governments with the Anti-Defamation League's hate law agenda continues to plummet. Only four nations reported hate crimes statistics this year, out of ADL's 56-member hate crimes bureaucracy, the (OSCE)-Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe ADL's 56-member hate-crimes bureaucracy, Abe Foxman laments: Seven years ago in Berlin, the OSCE countries pledged with great urgency to gather data on anti-Semitic crimes, yet only four of those governments have produced information on incidents for the OSCE annual report. Without this basic monitoring, how can any government demonstrate that they are serious about addressing it? When OSCE was created in 2004, Jewish supremacism was on a roll of hate law prosecutions (witchcraft), especially in Canada. It was aggressively laying the groundwork for extradition of "anti-Semites" and holocaust questioners. Revisionist historians Germar Rudolph and Ernst Zundel were both seized in America and sentenced to long prison terms in Germany for speech crimes. British historian David Irving was imprisoned in Austria. ADL/B'rith's goal was a hate law tidal wave that would flood the world's governments with Canadian-style restrictions on free speech, ultimately criminalizing "homophobic," "anti-Semitic" Christians and critics of Israel. Today the hate laws passed by ADL/B'nai B'rith in western nations still reverberate with the clank of prison bars in horrendous violations of free speech rights, yet the diminishing cooperation from the once mighty OSCE reveals a trend. Many governments are becoming disillusioned by the reality of hate laws. Major prosecutions of dissenters linger agonizingly, but Canada's indictments of "haters" have slowed significantly. The head of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal stunned Canadian Jewish leaders two years ago, by ruling Canada's internet hate laws are unconstitutional.
Ron Paul: The Folly of Sanctions!
Many people have the misconception that sanctions are an effective means to "encourage" a change of behavior in another country without war. However, imposing sanctions and blockades are not only an act of war according to international law, and are most often the first step toward a real war, starting with a bombing campaign. Sanctions were the first step in our wars against Iraq and Libya, and now more sanctions are planned against Syria and Iran are leading down the same destructive path. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) latest report, just out this month, there is no evidence that Iran has diverted enriched uranium from the peaceful and lawful generation of power toward the building of a nuclear weapon. According to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran has every right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Unfortunately, US foreign policy has boxed Iran into a corner, where they may view development of a nuclear weapon as the only way to maintain sovereignty. They are surrounded by unfriendly nuclear powers, and history has shown that having a nuclear weapon is the best way to avoid being bombed or invaded. The unintended consequences of our confrontational policies toward Iran may actually encourage them to seek nuclear weapons capabilities. We should be using diplomacy rather than using threats and hostility. Fortunately, there is another way. Nothing promotes peace better than free trade. Countries that trade with each other generally do not make war on each other, as both countries gain economic benefits they do not want to jeopardize: China is a massive nuclear power, yet it does not seek confrontation with the United States.

Rady Ananda: Citizens Initiative to Ban Chemtrails
On December 6, New York's Suffolk County government will hold a hearing on a proposal to ban aerial spraying of aluminum oxide, barium, sulfur, and other salts into the air over the county without first filing an Environmental Impact Statement without receiving approval from the county's Department of Health Services, Division of Environmental Quality. Exempted from the proposed ban are aerosol spraying operations for agriculture, lyme disease, Eastern equine encephalitis, West Nile Virus, and other disease vector control operations. The hearing will be held at the River-head Legislative Auditorium, Evans K. Griffing Building, 300 Center Drive in Riverhead, NY at 2:30 pm. If the public is able to convince legislators of the risk from such geo
-engineering operations, the legislation will then be voted on at the December 20th session. Otherwise, the proposed ban will be tabled indefinitely. Initiated by Cindy Pikoulas and her husband Jim, along with Siobhan Ciresi of Long Island Sky Watch (LISW), with the assistance of chem-trail opponent Rosalind Peterson of the Agriculture Defense Coalition, the bill was finalized and proposed by legislator Edward P Romaine of the 1st District. Involved in Suffolk County government since 1989, Romaine is a fiscal conservative who prioritizes saving farmland and protecting the environment.

Daily Mail Reporter: What's Killing America?
A new survey on health care is revealing, that you may not be getting what you pay for, if you check into a US hospital. The US healthcare system is more effective at delivering high costs than quality care than other developed nations, according to the study conducted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and development, or OECD. It found first-rate treatment for cancer, but insufficient primary care for other ailments. The study said Americans pay more than $7,900 per person for healthcare each year, far more than any other OECD country, but still die earlier than their peers in the industrialized world. The cost of healthcare in the United States is 62 percent higher than that in Switzerland, which has similar per capita income, and also relies substantially on private health insurance. Meanwhile, Americans receive comparatively little actual care, despite sky-high prices driven by extensive tests and procedures. They also spend more tax money on healthcare than most other countries, the study showed. An 'underdeveloped' US primary care system is plagued by shortages of family doctors and high rates of avoidable hospital admissions for people with asthma, lung disease, diabetes, hypertension and other common illnesses. The growth in US life expectancy over the past half century is also below average, gaining only 8.3 years since 1960, compared with an 11.2-year OECD average.
Kourosh Ziabari: America's Middle East War and the "Right to Protect".
After the Arab League hypocritically suspended the membership of Syria amid the mounting pressures of NATO and the United States, the resurgence of violence in Egypt, and the increasing use of excessive force in Bahrain and Yemen, and the unrelenting massacre of innocent civilians by the barbaric regime of Al Khalifa and Ali Abdullah Saleh once again attracted the attention of conscientious observers in the international community. According to official figures released by the "Bahrain Center for Human Rights" website, so far 44 Bahraini citizens were killed at the hands of the mercenaries of the Al Khalifa regime. The Bahraini martyrs include the 6-year-old Mohammed Farhan, 14-year-old Ali Jawad Alshaikh and 15-year-old Sayed Ahmad Saeed Shams. The Bahraini organization has reported that many of these martyrs were killed while in custody. The Center has also published documents indicating that more than 1,500 Bahrainis, including about 100 women were incarcerated since the eruption of turmoil in the Persian Gulf country on February 14, 2011, and that more than 90 journalists face life threat. It's also said that the Bahraini government has blocked the citizens' access to more than 1000 opposition websites, which are mainly used to organize and plan protests and mass demonstrations.
Human Events: President Obama Indicted!
In Crimes Against Liberty, David Limbaugh has compiled the most comprehensive and devastating indictment of what is turning out to be the most destructive presidency in American history. From exploiting the financial crisis for political gain, to restricting our personal freedoms through invasive healthcare and "green" policies, to endangering America with feckless diplomacy and reckless dismantlement of our national security systems, Limbaugh proves, beyond a reasonable doubt, that President Barack Obama is guilty of crimes against liberty. Obama's offenses against the rule of law (including the administration's blatant pursuit of race-based justice). Obama's violations of the public trust (including his Chicago-style bully boy tactics to protect and advance the administration's cronies). Obama's abuses against the private sector, including how his administration is removing any limits to federal power. Obama's crimes against good governance, including his mania for secrecy, after being elected on promises of of transparency. Obama's betrayals of the national interest, including his administration's gagging of honest discussion of the threat of radical Islam.

Timothy Bancroft-Hinchey: Condoleezza Rice: A Clown in the Theater of the Absurd
Condoleezza Rice is unique, so unique that it appears she is the first person to have made the transition from the pages of literature to real life, so absurd that the notion arises she is a character invented by Ionescu, the master of the Theater of the Absurd, a clown on the world stage, whose arrogance is overshadowed by her incompetence, but she has one problem: She never understood the precepts of the "Peter Principle", in which a person surpasses the boundaries of her own competence, and does not understand the point at which they should stop, so that they do not reach stations beyond the limitations of their own capacities. In the case of Condoleezza Rice, a University library in Boston would appear to be the perfect setting for her to flourish virtually unnoticed, saying little and studying a lot, and in the evenings playing the piano. Some people should be seen, and NOT heard. Condoleezza Rice has a pleasant demeanor, stands up nice and straight, and looks lady-like, does her hair up nicely, and has an attractive smile. The trouble is, once she opens her mouth, the smile turns to a snarl, something lunges behind those eyes, and centuries of hatred and anger, and pent-up emotions come vomiting forth, presenting the bile and venom of one who has not learned to control her emotions, and the result is that politics and policy get mixed up in a difficult menopause, which in her case started early, and stubbornly refuses to pass!
Karl Denninger: The Game is About Done!
It's pretty much over at this point: This morning Germany had a failed Bund auction. That's not particularly noteworthy: It happens from time to time, but what's noteworthy is what happened to bond yields everywhere through Europe in response: They blew out. The Greek and Italian "problem" is no longer about Greece and Italy. It has been creeping into Spain, and more recently France, but this morning jumped into Germany and everywhere else "all at once." Capital has said "no more" to the ties in Europe. While this does not mean an instant implosion, it does mean one important thing: The willingness of capital holders to continue to permit deficit spending is coming to an end, and with the false "GDP" that this lie has been "supported" will also come to an end. Our lawmakers, for their part, continue to sing a happy song about how we'll get it done, but not today, since the "super-committee" was an abject failure. Covering up the failure was the fact that there were departments that had 10, 20, even 30% increases in the funding, found in the appropriations bills, that were passed in the House, even while the so-called "committee" was trying to find away to cut spending. Folks, this political game of lie, lie and lie some more cannot go on forever. Eventually, the waiter appears with the check, and you pay it, wash dishes, or get arrested for theft!
Michael Snyder: 17 Quotes About the Coming Financial Collapse!
Is the world on the verge of another financial collapse? Yes! The western world is drowning in an ocean of debt, unlike anything the world has ever seen before, and our financial markets are gigantic casinos, that are dependent on huge mountains of risk and leverage remaining very stable. In the end, this house of cards that has been built on a foundation of sand is going to come crashing down in a horrifying manner. Usually in this column, I go on and on about why things will soon get much worse, but today I am going to take a bit of a break. Today, I am going to let some of the top financial professionals in the world tell you why things will soon get much worse. Many of the quotes that you are about to read just might make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Most people out there have no idea what is about to happen. Most people out there are working hard, and are so busy preparing for the holidays, and they are hopeful that the economy will turn around soon, but that is NOT going to happen. We are headed for another major global financial collapse, and when it happens, the economy of the United States economy is going to get even worse. The epicenter for the coming global financial collapse is almost certainly going to be in Europe. As you will see below, financial professionals all over the world are sounding the alarm about Europe. It is a disaster that everyone can see coming but that nobody seems to be able to prevent. Of curse, the failure of the "super-committee" in the United States certainly is NOT helping matters: There is already talk that we may soon see another downgrade for US debt. It is hard to even describe how incompetent the US Congress is. When the time comes, who is going to step forward and provide that leadership? That is a really, really good question.
