MoJtaba Hosseini: Palestinians should NOT negotiate NOW!

When I earned my MBA (Master of Business Administration) from The University of Texas at Arlington, Texas, my sly Business teacher advised all of his students to be a good negotiator, and you can do this only if you have something to trade with! Let us take that concept to the Israeli and Palestinian peace talks, and see if we can identify what each party "have" what the other wants. The aim of negotiation is to find a solution that is acceptable to both parties, and leaves both parties feeling that they've won, in some ways, after negotiation! Let us take that concept to the Israeli and Palestinian peace talks, and see if we can identify what each party "has" for "trade" during their negotiations. Israel comes to the table as an occupier. They took over the rest of Palestine during the 1967 war with the Arabs, the war that Israelis started. They have been controlling all of the Palestinian land, sea, and air for the past 44 years, and they have been much stronger militarily, with approximately 6 billion US military aid ever since, daring even to destroy and sink the USS Liberty, while I served as Intelligence Operations Officer for the 4th US Armored Division in Goeppingen, Germany. When brought the horrible news to General Sherrer, the commander of our division, he had only one comment: "With friends like the Israelis, we have no need of enemies!" But I digress: The US and Israel still insist that the Palestinians should continue the direct negotiation for "Statehood" with the Zionist Regime, and should NOT go to the UN to ask for Palestinian Statehood!
